Second semester reflection

Hello classmates, In this opportunity I will talk about my reflection in this second semester. Well I think that this semester is and was hard because to be in the last semester is complicated as there is more pressure to approve the subject to graduate and follow in this hard way or road of the university. 

Always the last things to turn hard because is all decisive, you go or back and you want, obviously, move on your way and advance yourself. On the other hand to be in the last semester is nostalgic, I will miss this university and its environment that not just gave me knowledge, but also experiences in my life that I never will forget. 

Until now I have good evaluations but no one knows what will happen, but really, it depends of oneself and the desire though at the end of year, energy runs out but I hope that I can celebrate my last year as a student.  

Since I entered to this career, always I had and have good experiences, I thought I could feel uncomfortable in the world art but I believe that it isn't strange as I thought, because I to meet wonderful people as teachers and classmates. I hope that all have a good semester and a good year and that all our work has very good results.

Arts and I

Hello classmates, in this opportunity I will talk about my relationship with the arts. Well, from the beginning always I like the History, even I want to be a history professor, but by things of life, by the PSU and by the waiting list, not allowed me register in the “Alberto Hurtado” university to be teacher, but when I knew that had a career about the History and Arts but this mixed, my decision was very fast and I chose to be here. 

 I must admit that I have fallen in love with this discipline as the years have passed and I not regret to being me here. I think that I study arts because for me is the reflection of the society, it's as a mix between iconography and the society, we are a reflection of the society and therefore also the art. 

All these I have come to understand through the classes and the theory and I think that my area is about the investigation or the restoration and conservation and I believe and I hope work or have a job about this art or theory area but also I would like to work files and documentation, for me it is a pleasure to contribute with this. 

 

How green am I?

Hello! In this opportunity I will talk about that how green am I and I hope to have self-criticism about the environmental care in my life and in my house. 

I think that in my house there is very little that is done about the ecology but always we keep glass bottles and plastic bottles for later to leave the bottles in a place near to my house where the people can recycled. That's all we do but we do for many years. 

I would like to make is buy a bike and go to all side in my bike, but I believe that's a bit difficult because Renca is far from everything and it would take me a long time of my life, lamentably to go somewhere, I must take bus.  

I think that I care for the ecology because although I do very little, I care to keep the bottles but I know this is not enough for the planet especially now that the environment is most critical situation. For all of above, I think that I am a 10% green, but I want to continue working in the ecology care. 

A movie that I love and a movie that I hate.

Hello classmate, well in this oportunity I will talk about of a movie that I love and a movie that I hate. Since I saw the first film of “The lord of the rings” I fell in love with the characters and its thriller. But then and recently it was released the new “Hobbit” trilogy and I fell In love again I have seen eery movie like three times and not bored me and could still see. I think it is one of the best production in the world of cinema. 

And a movie that I hate can be that “You don’t mess with the Zohan” despite being a funny movie, this film has little content and also for me that makes it boring, despite having moments of humor. When I saw I thought that could be more embarrassing but after a few minutes I hated, but still I saw to the end. 

There are many more movies that I love but the two trilogies I said above are my favorites, I can say that I love and that would see many times as necessary.

A day that I will always remember

Hello classmate, well in this oportunity I will talk about a day that I will always remember. I remember when I was a child, when I was 5 years old with my family traveled to the south. In this place (Temuco) live my family and this oportunity was the last travel and I always remember this days because was the last for my family to those place of the south of Chile. 

I remember than in the next door of the house of my family had a Kindergarten but it was abandoned. I went with my sister to that place we passed the gate and we played in the games of the Kindergarten. Sometimes we were scared bacause we could be dicovered and we could punish, but that made it more fun, also as was a lonely place we thought that some monster or ghost we could scare these characters. 

I will never forget that day because was the first mischief of my life and because also I had a great time with my sister ultil now we not forget.

A song that has a special meaning to me.

In this oportunity I will talk about a song that has a special meaning to me. Well, I think that the song that has a special meaning to me is “Uncreation” by Dan Swanö. Dan Swanö is a swedish death metal singer and my favourite singer. I believe in each of the words of his song because recounts the events of the world, currently we are in a involution because we are destroy the universe and so the singer speak about the uncreation, the death of the world caused for the people. 

This song is a reflection of the current world and that has a special meaning to me because when I heard, I felt part of this uncreation because the system and its world makes people from a alleged human evolution (about technology), but not in the culture and in the respect for nature and its univers. For me is important that the music in general account about this problems of the world and that through a song, can reason us the involution of the people and finally of the world. Should we are conscious that more than evolved actually, we are uncreators and involuted, this is unfortunate but true.

"My future Job"

Hello classmate! In this oportunity I will talk about my future job, well I hope have a job in relation with my career but all know that is a little hard find work in this area, in the Arts, but I think that there will be a job about files, documentation that stay for to be ordered or a quake that destroy some heritage for to be restored and conserved.

 But also I would like work as teacher and teach history of arts to who are interested about this subject and why not teach about some techniques of restoration. I like can transmit subjects that I know, especially about the Aesthetics of Art and teach the means of the art in the society.

 Also I would like work in something about the travels as a flight attendant, It's some paradoxical because I would need learn English very well and it is hard for me; I feel that in that kind of jobs you can know and meet other places and culture and also it must have a good. 

An artist that I admire

Hello everyone! In this oportunity I will talk about an artist that I admire and this person was a surrealist painter his name is René Magritte. This painter is from Belgium and his principal works is about the “magical realism” that this mean about find other realism and change the perception of the reality for to make that the viewer become more hipersensitive of their environment. 

Magritte link and unlike the things and this same things but in a painting, an example: in his work called “Ceci n'est pas une pipe” or “This isn't a pipe” show us the difference between the rality and the things that he paints in his paintings, anything think that: yes!! It is a pipe, but really is a representation of a pipe... It's for think or not? 

And other of his works is one that call it: “La réproduction interdite” or “The forbidden reproduction” that this work question the real representation of oneself and if really are you that who is reflected in the mirror. I like this artist because with his paintings you make think in the real reality or in the representation of this.

The best holiday I've had.

Hello Classmate! In this opportunity I will talk about the best holiday I’ve had. It was in the summer 2012, February specifically; I went with my boyfriend to Con-Con, we work very much for save money and stay in these places for a week and have fun without worries, we rent a cabin so there was no concern for the hosting, we can travel other beaches but the thing that we liked most was the restaurant. A day we ate a fried fish with potato salad with rice but before we ate cheese patty with prawns, it was delicious very tasty. 

This summer I would like to make the same travel but in other beach in the north for example, I have never traveled for those places and the north is my priority this year especially for their beaches because the people say that the beach’s north are warmer and hasn’t a lot of people. I hope that my boyfriend want go to the north with me as he did in 2012 hehehe.

A country I would like to visit

Hello Everyone: In this oportunity I will talk about a country that I would like to visit. This country is Norway because I like cold weather and their culture in all aspects, but especially for their museums about the viking culture and them viking ships. 

I love see the landscape of this country in my computer, but I would like look in person and visit this wonderfull landscapes with great mountains with snow and blue beauty lakes. 

I would like visit this country and its beauty places with my boyfriend and we could move permanently to the Norway, I think that it's a good idea because I don´t like Chile for the people and their culture here nothing is respected and I think that this will never change.

Hello Everyone, In this oportunity i will talk you about my life and my interest. Well, my name is Fernanda Neira, I'm 23 years old and I live in Renca, far far away from here.

In this moment I study Theory and History of the Arts and this year is the last, but the next year I want make my grade test or the thesis and get a part time job. I like very much the music, especially the metal music and more especially the death metal and the thrash, although my appearance doesn't show this style.

I hope in the future get a job about my career as the restoration and conservation or work with documents and files, I really think that this is my vocation.
